Our story
Work is Changing
When Vallist was founded in 2020, the world was facing unprecedented uncertainty during the Covid-19 pandemic. Companies pivoted to a hybrid work strategy and it was obvious that the role of the office was going to fundamentally change as companies reexamined their workplace strategy. As the dust settled, it was clear that hybrid work, and flexible working was here to stay.

Our Mission
Landlords previously outsourced flexible workspace amenities to 3rd party operators on leases. Most now want more ownership and control in the type of product they bring into their buildings.

Former WeWork Head of Real Estate for the Americas and Asia, and Global Head of Franchising.
Former, Compass Head of Real Estate and IWG Head of Real Estate, Eastern Europe. Making flexible workspaces work at the next level. Across the globe, Alex has expanded organizational reach across new markets, improving profitability across a portfolio of 450 buildings in 50 markets.
Lachlan Buchanan
Managing Partner
Former WeWork Head of Real Estate for Pacific and Servcorp International Development Director,
Lachlan has vast experience in global office markets having grown and managed the footprint of these flex operators throughout Europe, Middle East, India and APAC. Lachlan is passionate about the workplace experience and workplace strategy and how technology plays a role in the office asset.
Philip Leung
Partner
Commercial Real Estate professional with 12 years experience across the Asia Pacific region and having concluded flexible workspace transactions across 11 countries in the Pacific region. Last role was Senior Director at WeWork heading the Southeast Asia real estate function. Prior to WeWork, Philip previously worked in the office market completing APAC office transactions during his tenure at JLL, Colliers and Cushman & Wakefield.

Director of US Operations
An effective people manager with a background in a high-growth environment, business operations, project management, and sales. Experienced in cross-functional initiatives, team building, client relations, and high levels of organization. Highly adaptable and a motivated self-starter, Emily loves rising to a challenge and thrive in a pressurized, multifaceted work environment.
Stephen Tapp
Head of Americas
A recognised leader in media, technology and real estate solutions, with a proven track record of building and operating profitable membership, subscriber and advertiser supported businesses. Tapp also advised US based MFR Prop Tech company Alfred on expansion into Canada. Alfred is the market leader & pioneer in next-generation technology-enabled residential property management. Most recently Tapp served as Territory Vice President, Head of Canada, for WeWork, it’s most profitable territory
