As part of the firm’s expansion plans, Vallist will be launching flexible workspaces in Hong Kong (APAC), London (EMEA), Dubai (UAE) and Sydney (AUS). Vallist has also just entered the US market with Upperhaus, our first full service coworking New York City location.

The Opportunity

Vallist is entering the NY market with a flagship location in the Bryant Park neighborhood of New York City. We will be operating 13 floors of highly curated coworking space, including F&B outlets and event partnerships. Grow with us as we open new locations and enter new markets year on year. The Role

We are looking for a Sales Lead to join our opening team. Your job will be to work with potential and existing clients as a workspace sales consultant helping them select the space that meets their needs. You will be maximizing building revenue by leading efforts to generate new clients and increase sales. You will:

  • Define and implement the sales strategy for your building, overseeing the full sales cycle from identifying opportunities to successfully closing deals
  • Generate leads and proactive sales by executing against your promotional and networking events and activities
  • Build relationships with potential business clients and brokers to sell them our added-value services and products
  • Maximize sales performance for your building and ensure critical KPIs are met and exceeded
  • Work closely with the Operations Director to achieve the building monthly revenue and occupancy targets;
  • Qualify SMB leads and conduct building tours with prospects and execute on closing of said deals;
  • Initiate, organize & execute various broker campaigns and events focused on lead generation;
  • Initiate and develop new membership and marketing strategies to attract new leads;
  • Learning and knowing the “ins and out” of assigned buildings and the local sub-market, inclusive of local attractions, changing trends, nearby competitors, and pricing

This is a largely onsite sales role which will require you to be in Bryant Park the majority of the time, until our next building opening slated for Q3 2023.

About You

We’re looking for a born networker who has a natural ability to enthuse prospects and has a passion for consultative selling. The ideal candidate for the role is keen to help build a business from the ground up by establishing a sales network and pipeline. Key requirements include:

  • Skilled relationship manager and consultant with 3-5 years of sales experience who is hungry to develop business, generate and grow valuable long term client partnerships
  • Excellent team player and communicator
  • Practical solution seller who takes a hands-on approach and is driven to achieve results
  • Self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision to hit and exceed sales targets
  • Strong interpersonal skills and presence
  • Entrepreneurial & resilient mindset

What We Offer

We will offer a competitive annual salary package which will increase when our first location’s occupancy has ramped up and as we open our second building opening in 2023. The total compensation structure will be based on an annual salary, together with an OTE model which includes commission (based on % of TCV), followed by an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
